Family Fun
I recently went to Austin with my sister, to visit her Tonigirl and family. I always have a blast there with a family that plays together. My sister, being the fun Grandma that she is brought them musical instruments, a little Rocker guitar and keyboard. Little Mikey loved them, and became a Rock Star for us. He really threw himself into it, then ran around bringing out every other instrument he could find. It turns out his Aunt Lori had sent them each real guitars just their size, so we got to see him perform with his. Today I got a video from Lori of her two girls on their little piano, with merry, rambunctious tunes, and the voices of their parents in the background singing as they played. I remembered my sister surrounded by her singing, performing babies, and it was good to see an old fashioned fun tradition passed on. I love to see families really enjoy each other.Television, computers, and video games can't replace this.

You are SO right. Nothing can replace genuine family fun... We play a LOT of ring-around-the-rosie at our house ;)
Love you!
